Propolis is a solid wax. To apply it to the skin, for example, it must be dissolved in alcohol. For cosmetic and medicinal applications, propolis is dissolved in alcohol. Not everyone likes or tolerates this. Therefore, we have developed a process that reduces the alcohol by over 90%.

Much like in non-alcoholic beer, most of the alcohol is evaporated. We then dissolve the propolis in our pure Dimisulf in a complex process. Dimisulf is pharmaceutical-grade DMSO. DMSO has the unique effect of transporting the ingredients of propolis through the skin.

Naturally, we only use propolis from organic beekeeping. Our Gürner propolis extract comes from Brazil and is of the highest purity, vastly surpassing our previous Austrian propolis in purity and active ingredient content.
